Job Description:
* Test mobile commercial applications across multiple handsets adhering to carrier standard checklist.
* Analyzes the functional and nonfunctional requirements and designs Test Scenarios and Test cases
* Experience in writing and executing GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, and Performance related test cases in Mobility.
* Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner. Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug closure report.
* Passion for testing mobile applications and finding bugs. (Specific to mobile.)
* Knowledge of Software QA methodologies
Primary Skills:
* Experience in Testing Mobile apps on various operating systems e.g. iOS, RIM, Android, Symbian , BREW, Windows, J2ME etc using various devices e.g. Apple, Blackberry, Nokia,Android etc
* Experience in Mobile Application testing includes UI, Functional/ Non-functional ,Regression tests, Device compatibility tests, Performance tests, Security interoperability testing, Usability testing, language localization tests, Automated tests and others.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skill
* Good Analytical and logical problem-solving skills. Works well in a team environment and alone.
* Has ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project.
* Has ability to meet deadlines.
Secondary Skills (Nice to Have):
* Experience in automation testing will be a plus.
* Experience in Onsite/ Offshore model
