As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience

Database test development' group (part of the database server group of Server Technologies Division) works on the upcoming releases of Oracle database server, enveloping a wide range of technologies that include (but not limited to) RDBMS, Storage Management, XML, Real Application Clusters (RAC), Security, Replication/Streams, Queuing, Backup/Recovery, Query Optimization, Transaction Management, Performance Tuning and High Availability.
The group with its state of the art development infrastructure and practices, helps shape technology that has been important for a large number of Fortune 2000 and other companies.
The group foresees product usage scenarios, simulates real life problems, tests the forthcoming releases of Oracle database server and ensures that the customers get the highest quality database.
Who do we need
---------------
= B.E/M.E/M.Tech. in Computer Science / MCA from a reputed university (Preferrably from colleges part of Oracle campus list - and CGPA = 7)
= One to Seven years of industry experience
= Must be good in relational database fundamentals
= Must have worked with one or more of the commercial relational databases.
= Must have experience in development using PL/SQL or C or Java
= Knowledge of a scripting language like Perl is very desirable
= Experience with Oracle database backend desirable
= Experience in Oracle database administration is desirable
