Job description:
* At least 4 years of solid SAP BO/BI project delivery experience in consulting environment
Multiple Full Life Cycle experience with SAP BI / SAP BO experience is must to have
Should have a strong background in requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, blueprint design, testing, implementing, training and go-live support utilizing SAP methodologies and tools.
BO/BI Architecture on Business Objects XI R3/XI R2, Web Intelligence , Universe Design,Xcelsius,Crystal reports etc
Should have in-depth knowledge of data warehousing and data management, and database design and performance issues. and experience on BO/BI in multiple platforms including versions of UNIX , Windows integrating with ERP solutions , legacy data & web based portals
Preferred to have candidate with experience in using BO Mobile XIR2, Data Quality(DQ), Data Federator & BO XI Data manager.
Responsibility:
Leading technical aspects of the delivery of SAP BI solutions & related components: interfaces, conversions, HW/SW oversight (selection/sizing/configuration recommendation & execution). Understanding business challenges & translates them into requirements/solutions.
Providing Solution Performance (analysis/tuning) and works across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution definition & systems architecture for the organization.
Working with the project/program managers in managing the architecture roadmaps during the implementation; and identifying and facilitating the realization of synergy opportunities and the resolution of gaps and issues identified by the plan at business-unit and enterprise level.
Developing and ownership of the BO/BI target architecture and architecture road maps.
Working with the business unit Data Architecture teams and business solution representatives to evolve the BO/BI architecture, universe design and report mock-ups and design.
Key person responsible for designing the data models for the BI/DW initiatives
Responsible for drive database design best practices
Work with the ETL teams to ensure quality ETL delivery including source to target mappings
